Greetings; my name is Jenny Doane Upton. My paternal grandmother was Mary Ellen Wyatt (Doane). She and her husband lived near London, Kentucky. Since I myself am a poet, I of course would like to know if I am descended from the famous poet Sir Thomas Wyatt. Do you happen to know if the Kentucky Wyatts are descended either from Francis Wyatt, governor of Virginia, or his brother Hawte?
